Hola! Since you have landed on this blog, and you’re reading this page, you –or someone you care about– is likely affected by a gluten intolerance or disease.
Welcome to the club!
My name is Charbel, and I live in Doha, Qatar. In 2020, I was diagnosed with celiac disease after experiencing sudden symptoms, which, fortunately, didn’t persist for long. I was also fortunate to have an excellent GP who quickly made the correct diagnosis.
After starting Beirut Gluten Free back in 2022, I am excited to launch another resourceful blog focused on Doha this time. Both Beirut Gluten Free and Gluten-Free QA have a common goal – which is to share with you what I have learned about living totally gluten free in both cities. I will share my favorite places, including tips for you to stay safe, healthy, pain- and worry-free.
This blog does not aim to generate money. It does, however, entail a monthly subscription cost (domain registration, hosting, CMS maintenance, email). I will do my best to keep it running, and keep its content up-to-date with minimal advertisements. And I will make sure to state it clearly when a piece of content is featured or paid for by an external entity.
Awaiting your feedback and recommendations on info@glutenfree.qa.
Oh, and we’re on social media platforms too: Instagram, X (aka Twitter).
